The RE5 was introduced in 1974. Suzuki seemed to have solved most of the technical problems of the Wankel engine, but fell down heavily on the marketing ones and unfortunately the buying public did not warm to this eccentric machine at the time.
This early model is fitted with the "Dan Dare" style instrument consol and rear light. In the later models these were dropped in favour of more familiar GT750 items.
This machine is in unrestored condition and has a recorded mileage of 9,000 miles.It is sold with a current MoT.
