Of vase-shaped form, on domed circular foot, with leaf-clad scroll side spout and leaf-clad scroll handle issuing from rocaille, the handle with bone insulators, the hinged domed cover with a shell-form finial, the side engraved with a crest and a Duke's coronet, the interior fitted with a cylindrical sleeve for a heater and a circular cap, marked on side, cover, sleeve, and cap--7 3/8 in. (18.7 cm.) high
