A LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER PUNCH BOWL AND LADLE IN THE OLD RUSSIAN STYLE MOSCOW, 1908-1914, MARKED MT POSSIBLY FOR MIKHAIL TARASOV

The caldron shaped body with a wide central repoussé band of ornate scrolls against stippled ground enclosing four circular cartouches within twisted ropework, two engraved in Russian, the other two with blossoms, on four large beaded ball feet beneath ogees, the large scroll handles further decorated in the old Russian style of the Medieval ages, the ladle with elongated hook handle en suite, marked under base and bowl - bowl 11 5/8 in. (29.5 cm.) high
