A PAIR OF JADE, HARDSTONE AND ENAMEL 'PLUM BLOSSOM' TREE GROUPS

The tree trunk and branches unusually formed from aubergine-enameled copper and naturalistically shaped with gnarled effect supporting silk thread-wrapped wire stems with amethyst and tourmaline blossoms, each petal separately carved and joined by wire centered by pearl-bead stamen, the pale spinach-green jade lanceolate leaves with serrated edges, with two dark spinach-green jade birds perched in each of the trees above a turquoise-matrix taihe rock, all contained within a dark spinach-green jade jardiniere of ogival shape lightly incised with stylized lotus--14½in.
