FIVE NEO-ASSYRIAN CYLINDER SEALS
CIRCA 900-700 B.C.

One of gray marble engraved with an archer standing before a winged horse, wedges in the field, crescent and t-shape in the sky, 20 x 9 mm, one of black serpentine engraved with a royal figure facing a row of three standing figures, a fan bearer and soldier holding a cup behind the royal figure, a plant in the field, rhomb, and linear motif in the sky, chevron border above, lower section missing, 21 x 15 mm, one of black serpentine engraved with a row of three figures before a vessel upon a stand, two with a staff and a cup, one with a staff, plants in the field, star and ball staff in the sky, line border, 20 x 9 mm, one of black serpentine engrave with a seated figure holding a cup and an attendant holding a fan and a stole, a vessel upon a stand in between them, star and crescent in the sky, opposing chervron borders, damaged, 37 x 13 mm, ,and one of black serpentine engraved with a scene similar to the last, with star, crescent and four globes in the sky, 35 x 11 mm (5)
