The cut glass body of baluster form on circular foot with moulding, engraved on foot with initials MB, the glass body silver with engraved and gilt garlands, the silver strapwork mount with husk and scroll decoration, set at intervals with cabochon oval stones, rising to an undulating silver rim, with silver and glass bulb-form stopper similarly decorated and applied with stones, engraved under base 1892, marked on base, stamped under base 1892--14 1/2in. high
