The lobed baluster-form pitcher with flaring lip and molded lug handle on circular foot decorated in blue with transfer printing with a foliate band over a view of the Deaf and Dumb Asylum, Hartford, Connecticut, the reverse with a view of the New York City Alms House; the wash basin circular with a scalloped flaring lip and decorated with a foliate band centering a view of the Lawrence Mansion, Boston--the pitcher 10in. high; the wash basin 14in. diam.
