AN ENAMEL TRAVELLING WRITING SET AND AN ENAMEL TOAD BONBONNIERE

The writing case of shaped rectangular form, painted with twelve pastoral vignettes each in gilt scroll border, on white dotted blue ground, containing three glass bottles, two with enamel covers (one cover missing), a gilt-metal propelling pencil/pen and two nibs, the box and bottle with gilt-metal mounts - 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) wide; and a box formed as a frog, with brown eyes and markings and pale yellow throat, the base painted with a landscape, some damage, both unmarked - 2½in. (6.5cm.) long (2)
