Galba (AD 68-69), Orichalcum Sestertius, 26.4 gms., mint of Rome, struck c. November AD 68, SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG TR P, laureate head right, rev. EX SC OB CIVES SER, in four lines in oak-wreath (RIC 434; BMC 62; Kraay 42 (A57/P71)), a few minor faults, including a scrape below CIVES on the reverse but extremely fine, in high relief on a large round medallic planchet, almost certainly by the same hand as Hunt I, lot 128, an outstanding and rare First Century bronze
