Within an arched case with ormolu fillets to the sides and door and carry handle, the silvered dial with Roman chapter ring and above a panel enclosing the signature, strike/silent lever at 4 o'clock, pierced steel brequet hands, the substantial triple chain fusee movement with platform lever escapement and bi-metallic balance, striking the hours and quarters on three bells planted on the signed and numbered backplate- 12½in.(31cm.) high
