Each of baluster form with pinecone finial on a domed cover, scroll strap handle extending from rim to shoulder, gadrooned lower body and trumpet foot, raised on a square base, the mouth moulded and gilt with paterae, the shoulder with a band of jewels, the body painted with a continuous scene of putti emblematic of the seasons frolicking in the woods, enclosed within a chased gilt zig-zag border, the lower band also moulded--15 7/8in. (40.4cm.) high (2)
