AN INTERMEDIARY PANEL
From the Manufacture Desfossé et Karth, in the Régence taste, depicting a still life with an ormolu-mounted porcelain covered vase, bagpipes, a lady's hat and two cardinals attending a nest within foliage above a Berainesque palanquin suspending scrolling foliate arabesques with perched pigeons within plumed clasps against a cream ground, the reverse stamped twice 'CH. Follot' (edges frayed, ends torn)-approximately 2ft. 3 1/2in. x 6ft. 8in. (70cm. x 2m. 3cm.)
