8° (195 x 130mm). Initials heightened in gold and colours, illustrations, foreword signed by the editor and dated Cotham Bristol '3 Mo. 1862'. (Some leaves slightly dust-soiled.) Contemporary blue half morocco, spine in compartments ruled in gilt (scuffed, upper joint split). Provenance: Cardiff Castle bookplate.

Facsimile of the unique copy of Tyndale's Bible in Bristol Baptist College (now in the British Library). STC 2824; also of part of the earlier Cologne fragment of Tyndale's translation.
