(11 1/16 x 7 5/8 x 2in.), reversed orange goatskin covered with irregularly shaped onlays of puckered gray goatskin, upper cover with large black disc traversed by a thin porous onlay of light brown leather with irregularly torn edges and with a small red and white inner disc, both discs with slightly embossed edges, lower cover with matching disc and central roundel of onlaid black calf outlined in a thin aureola of onlaid red morocco to resemble an eclipsed sun, round vellum gilt-lettered title-piece with irregularly painted black borders inlaid to center of smooth spine, gray morocco doublures with painted black circle, buckram folding box, the back with morocco lettering-piece, the binder's monogram blind-stamped on lower doublure. LIMITED EDITION, NUMBER 1 OF SEVEN COPIES PRINTED ON VELLUM from the edition of 257, title and text in Greek and English, wood-engraved head- and tail-pieces.
