ONLY EDITION. Joye was a Protestant reformer who fled to Strassburg when accused of heresy in 1527. He was closely associated with Tyndale. The present work is written against Stephen Gardiner's A declaration of such true articles as G.Joye hath gone about to confute (1546). STC 14828.5
