MAKER'S MARK OF JOHN EDWARDS III, LONDON, 1805/6, THE ENTREE DISHES MAKER'S MARK OF HENRY NUTTING & ROBERT HENNELL, 1808

Comprising a sarcophagus-form soup tureen and cover and four matching sauce tureens and covers, with pendant ring handles and gadrooned borders, and four oblong entree dishes with similar borders and heraldic lion finials, each piece engraved with a coat-of-arms, the covers with the same crest as the finials, marked on bases, covers and heraldic finials -- soup tureen 16in. (41cm.), sauce tureens 8½in. (21.5cm.), entree dishes 11 1/8in. (21.2cm.) long; fitting into a plated octagonal revolving stand with reeded borders and hinged ivory handles, engraved with the same coat-of-arms -- 30¼in. (77cm.) wide
