Two works in one volume, 8° (165 x 110mm). 3 titles within woodcut border in first work [McKerrow & Ferguson 271], title of second work within typographic border, first work with final blank leaf, second with final leaf of table. (Signature Z and folia Hh8, Kk1 & 8 and Nn1 from smaller copy, Iii8 torn into text without loss, upper margin trimmed sometimes touching headline, some leaves slightly waterstained.) Contemporary calf, covers with gilt centrepiece, raised bands, (spine worn, stitching weak).

The first popular edition of the Bible in Welsh, printed with the Book of Common Prayer at the beginning, and with the Book of Psalms, which are usually found together. It is a reprint of the 1588 Bible in Roman type and small size. In this copy signature G is of six leaves, with complete text, followed by two unsigned leaves with the names of assistants and list of books, with the catechism, usually found after C7, in the Prayer Book.
