CHOSON DYNASTY (15-16TH CENTURY)

Of circular shape resting on a small and high ring foot, decorated in the shallow well in sgraffito style in brushed white slip with a band of stylized flowers centering a large floret within double lines and a solid border, brushed on the underside with criss-cross strokes of white slip -- 5 3/4 (14.6 cm.) diameter

Lot Essay

Another bowl with brushed white slip flower and leaf decoration was sold in these Rooms April 27, 1994, lot 39.
