A STAFFORDSHIRE YELLOW-GROUND TEAPOT AND COVER
CIRCA 1810, AFTER PRINTS BY ADAM BUCK

Of globular form with loop handle and everted mouth, the conical cover with spire finial printed in black with vignettes of a reclining figure of Pan and a shepherd in contemporary dress, the front and back with a young mother at a piano, her children playing a tambourine and triangle, with black line edges, Jacobs Collection no. 573 (slight nick and minor flaking to rim)--5½in. (14cm.) high
