CIRCA 1790, PERHAPS LEEDS

Of pear shape with ball finial, painted with Chinese landscapes, Jacobs Collection no. 452 (restored finial and handle, rim chip and associated crack to cover)--3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; together with a pearlware tea-canister and cover, circa 1790, perhaps Leeds, of rectangular form with domed cover and ball finial, painted in blue with flower swags, Jacobs Collection no. 507 (rim chip to cover, flange chipped and cracked)--5¼in.
