Oval, on spreading oval foot applied with an egg-and-dart band, the body applied below the rim with a band of flowerheads within geometric decoration above a similar band, with bifurcated foliate scroll side handles, the domed cover surmounted by a mutton finial raised on an oval pedestal with beaded borders, the oval stand with similar flowerhead rim and with openwork tied scroll and flowerhead side handles, with plated liner, marked--length over handles of tureen 15 1/4in.
