Vase-shaped, on three scrolling paw feet raised on ball supports and headed by acanthus, applied at the shoulder with a foliate band, with acanthus scroll spout terminating in an animal mask and with acanthus scroll handle, the hinged domed cover chased with folaite scrolls on a matted ground above a similar rim and surmounted by a bud finial, marked--7 7/8in. high
