MAKER'S MARK OF A.E. WARNER, BALTIMORE, 1818

The shaped oval openwork scrolling base with bands of die-rolled foliate scrolls, flowerheads and grapes, raised on four ball feet, with loop dividers and bifurcated scroll loop finial engraved underneath with script monogram MC, marked AEW and with Baltimore assay office marks with dominical letter D, Duggan, mark 1f--8 3/4in. long
