WILKES, No. 15220, rolled-edge triggerguard, gold cocking-indicators, the lockplates and underside of the action-body gold-encrusted and engraved with scenes of pheasant, partridge and woodcock, the whole surrounded by best foliate-scrollwork, the maker's name and serial number gold-inlaid, with full hardening-colour and blueing, gold-washed triggers and lockwork, highly-figured stock, the chopper-lump barrels with game-rib and gold-inlaid breech-ends
