WILKES, No. 15226, rolled-edge triggerguard, gold-cocking-indicators, the action-body, lockplates and furniture profusely gold-encrusted and engraved with wildfowl, oak leaves, celtic strapwork and grotesques on a foliate-scroll engraved ground, the borders chiselled in relief with oak leaves and grotesque masks, the maker's name and serial number gold-inlaid, with full hardening-colour and blueing, highly-figured stock, the chopper-lump barrels with game-rib, the breech-ends gold-encrusted with oak leaves and acorns
