The plain ecuelle with two plain crested handles, the body and cover engraved with coat-of-arms beneath count coronet, the domed moulded cover with knob-finial, the stand with gadrooned border, engraved with the same coat-of-arms.

Lot Essay

The coat-of-arms is that of Counts de Bonvillard.
These two pieces have been exhibited in Toulouse in 1988 (see catalogue Orfèvrerie Toulousaine au XVIIIe siècle, nr 58 & 55).
