marks indistinct, 17th Century

On raised circular and spreading base, chased with bands of egg-shaped and foliate motifs, the rising centre chased and engraved with winged cherub masks and fruit sprays, amongst strapwork and foliage, the baluster stem with similar engraving and applied with further winged cherub masks, the spreading cup mounted en cage with similar decoration, with gilt interior and with inscription dated 1613 under base - 23.5 cm high
