Rectangular box, the cover set with a miniature representing a French field-marshal holding the marshal's baton, with his wife, leaning on a parapet inscribed STADIUM CUM LUCE CUCURRIT, the front and rear walls depicting two other couples, the side walls painted with a boy holding a globe, and a lady in nocturnal landscape; the base set with interwoven blond and brown hair under glass; the cage-mounts chased with ovoids and leaves -- 6.8 m wide
