A MEISSEN GOLD-GROUND TWO-HANDLED BEAKER AND SAUCER painted with Oriental flower sprays reserved on the entirely gilt ground, the centre of the saucer with a circular reserve painted with Kakiemon flowers within a band of tooled scrollwork, the rims with blue, iron-red and yellow half flowerheads (slight flake to gilding on rim of beaker and slight chip to inside footrim of saucer) blue crossed swords marks, Dreher's quartered circle to saucer, circa 1735
