oil on canvas, in an interior, the Shah sits in a large jewelled throne, the sword of state across his knees, wearing a tall black hat with jewelled ornaments, white trousers and a heavily jewelled black tunic with green sash and two miniatures of Fath 'Ali Shah and Muhammad Shah on his chest, (some damages and repairs), on rectangular stretcher with pointed top, original cut and stamped leather edging
