A PAIR OF BÖTTGER GOLDCHINESEN GADROONED TWO-HANDLED BEAKERS AND SAUCERS, gilt at Augsburg in the workshop of Bartholomäus Seuter with chinoiserie figures on terraces at various pursuits including hunting and worshipping, the saucers with scenes supported on gilt scrollwork within lobed cartouches, the borders, interiors of the cups and handles entirely gilt, the gadrooning alternately gilt with dots, foliage scrolls and bands (one saucer with slight rim chip restored and slight scratch to surface, very minor rubbing to gilding), the porcelain circa 1720, the decoration slightly later (2)
