A MEISSEN HAUSMALEREI BOWL painted in underglaze blue and enriched with gilding, puce and green decoration at Augsburg, each side with an Oriental in a sampan above two pagodas beside exotic plants and a large gourd below birds in flight and enclosed by clouds, pine and trellis elements, the interior entirely gilt (very minor rubbing to gilt interior), blue crossed swords mark within a double circle, the porcelain circa 1725, the decoration very slightly later
