A FRENCH ART DÉCO SILVER-MOUNTED TABLE MIRROR

Rectangular silver frame with bevelled inner border, the edges of the mirror also bevelled, dark leather back with folding silver strut -- 241 x 202 mm, the mirror with two minor chips.
Provenance
Given by Claude Cartier to his mother-in-law, Mrs Daphne Kane Salmona.

Lot Essay

The silver frame, made for export to Cartier New York, bears the maker's mark of Robert Linzeler who was a supplier of silver objects to Cartier since the 1920's and later bought by Cartier.
