A LOUIS XVI ENAMELLED GOLD SNUFF-BOX

Oval box, the base, sides and cover with panels enamelled in translucent red on engine-turned grounds framed by white opaque enamel bands, the cover centred with an oval enamel miniature depicting Rinaldo and Armida, the borders chased with green and pink enamelled foliage and ribbons -- 83 mm wide.
