The central section set with a high domed cabochon sapphire in a calibré-cut sapphire and old European-cut diamond navette-shaped panel surround to the articulated old European-cut diamond terminals, circa 1915, 18.3 cm., in a blue leather W.A. Bolin fitted case
According to the present owner, this bracelet once belonged to the financier, Knut A. Wallemberg, a former Swedish Foreign Minister and founder of the Stockholm foundation bearing his name. He purchased the bracelet and several jewels from the Muscovite court jeweler, Bolin, as a gift for his wife, Alice Wallemberg. It was probably aquired prior to the Revolution (1914/1915). An important client of Bolin, Wallemberg later helped with their establishment in Stockholm.
