Dark blue morocco, spines in compartments with gilt lettering, inner gilt dentelles, by Trautz-Bauzonnet, g.e. Provenance: Mosbourg collection (blue morocco gilt booklabel); Lindeboom collection (red morocco gilt armorial booklabel).

A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST COMPLETE COLLECTED EDITION of the works of Molière, which includes FIRST EDITIONS of six plays, Don Garcie de Navarre, L'Impromtu de Versailles, Don Juan ou le Festin de Pierre, Mericerle, Les Amours magnifiques and La Comtesse d'Escarbagnas. The texts were corrected after the author's death from his manuscripts by the actors Vinot and La Grange.
