Boat-shaped, the bottle frame with four pilaster supports with lion masks, the oval base on four foliage and rosette feet, with a vine and oak rim and two foliate scroll bracket handles, the heart-shaped handle rising from a centered stem, decorated with acanthus supports, engraved at both ends with a coat-of-arms, fitted with six tapered cut-glass bottles with silver palmette and acanthus mounts, each with cut-glass stopper, one fitted with a pepper-spoon, marked under base, on bottles and mounts - 30 cm (11¾ in) wide

The arms are those of Hill quartering Noel, Lovelace and Wentworth for Thomas Noel, 2nd Baron Berwick (1770-1832) who married Miss Sohpia Dubouchet in 1812.
