Uniform blue straight-grained half morocco gilt by Devauchelle, ornate flat-backed spines, original printed wrappers and prospectus bound in, t.e.g., slipcases.
FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM and "Édition coloriée" on papier vélin by le Marais. Uniformly bound with this set is a third volume containing an extra suite of uncoloured plates, some in two states, bound with the yellow printed wrappers to the original parts.
