(7 15/16 x 5 7/16in.), contemporary reversed sheep, spine in four compartments, printed paper and manuscript vellum binder's waste, rubbed with some leather loss, tear to tail of spine exposing cords, minor worming to lower cover, two or three short marginal tears, one (to fol. i4) just touching text, some light foxing, first two leaves slightly dust-soiled, a few mostly marginal stains, last text leaf dampstained.
Collation: a-l8. 88 leaves, with signatures. Contents: a1r: title, v. blank, a2r-l7v text, l8 blank. Types: 2:107G (title); 74(76)G (not distinguished by Proctor from 1:74G). 36 lines. Opening 5-line initial A illuminated in liquid gold and blue, paragraph marks supplied in red and blue.
