(16 3/8 x 11 7/8 in.), on later guards, nineteenth-century calf gilt, g.e., broken, spine gone, lacking part 1 engraved title, the two plates to part 2 (Koeman 36 and 37), and 5 maps (Koeman numbers 3, 12, 13, 14 and 52, ie., Brasilia et Peruvia, Americae Pars Borealis, Quivirae Regnum, Terrae Sanctae, and Croatia), creasing to second text leaf ("Benevolis Geographiae Studiosis..."), 10 maps with minor internal tears, most neatly repaired, marginal tears or repairs to 11 maps and 4 preliminary text leaves, approximately 32 mapsheets with very minor loss through adhesion or abrasion, 6 mapsheets with more severe adhesive loss, cropping to edge of Waldeccensis Comitatus map (part 2, fol.
