Post Lot Text
From the Café Society collection, shown October 1993 for the Spring/Summer 1994 season. This collection was inspired by the period between 1890-1910, especially French style of that time. The collection has its roots in the clothes of Worth, the first French couture house, famous for its opulence and technical brilliance. Emphasis was placed on the bustle and bust. It leaned towards Haute Couture with a large evening wear section.
