Rumbold Bt. at Calcutta and redirected to Cawnpore, rated "Bg 1RS 8as" and showing, on reverse, a fine strike of the octagonal-framed "NIPAUL/POST OFFICE/POST PAID" h.s. completed for "2rs", "CALCUTTA/GEN. POST. OFFICE" oval d.s. in red and oval-framed "G.P.O./PT PD" d.s.. The entire somewhat worn at folds, nevertheless an outstanding item from the British Residency Post Office
