A FINE PARCEL-GILT CUP AND COVER, on moulded waisted spreading foot, the lower section chased with cherub, fruit and foliate strapwork band, raised centre applied with telamons, the upper section decorated with medallions, strapwork and masks, the stem shaped as ceres, godess of agriculture holding a sickle in one hand and supporting a shell in the other, containing the cup and cover formed as cornucopia, consisting of melons, pears, apples, berries, flowers and foliage, by Georg Mond (Rosenberg 1739), Dresden, circa 1620
