A DUTCH DELFT BLUE AND WHITE OVOID VASE, painted allover in the Daniel Marot style with three identical scenes depicting a large baroque dais enclosing a laurel wreath depicting the likeness of probably William III of Orange on horseback surmounted by a kettledrummer and flanked by two supporting atlantes, above a spouting grotesque fountain flanked by nereids and panflute players, the shoulders with suspended musical trophies, the base with a border of tasselled shells alternating with trellised motifs, indistinctly marked for de Grieksche A, late 17th Century
