A MEISSEN PORCELAIN 'POUSSAH' FIGURE (Magot), seated cross legged and holding a large fly-whisk in his left hand and keeping a perched bird on his right lap, wearing an orange-ground robe scattered with indianische Blumen over his flesh-toned body, with pointed gadrooned green hat, on a low plinth base with chamfered corners and gilt rim (one hand repaired, chip to wing of bird), indistinct crossed swords mark on base, circa 1740-1750
