A SILVER-MOUNTED WOODEN BROKERS STAFF "MAKELAARSSTOKJE"

The plain ebonized baluster stem mounted on one end with the coat of arms for the city of Amsterdam and engraved around the sides "Dirk Jacob Pagerze", the other end with the emblem of the brokers guild, and engraved with the date 1849.
