A FAIENCE DE L'EST 'AU CHINOIS' ROCAILLE BOUGHPOT (pique-fleurs), possibly Lunéville factory, the en demi lune shaped body painted in colours, the edges outlined in beetred, decorated with a central rectangular panel depicting a chinaman seated in a rocky garden, flanked by scrolled and berried panels, the upper side pierced with holes (one corner chipped), possibly late 18th Century
