A POTSCHAPPEL SAXON PORCELAIN PRESENTATION VASE WITH COVER, (Prunkvase) Carl Thieme factory, the balustroid body painted in colours with a frontal scene of a gentleman standing beside a seated lady and her daughter, a female musician behind them, all wearing Louis XIII-style clothes, a baroque fountain flanking them, the shoulders with scantily clad seated maiden holding a flowerbasket, surrounded with myriads of flowerheads in relief, the reserve with a large bunch of deutsche Blumen, the obliquely gadrooned pedestal circular base applied with a continuous flowerbranch, the bulging obliquely gadrooned cover with flowerheads and two winged cherubs flanking a rocaille crowned crest depicting the double Polish and Saxon coat-of-arms surrounded with mantling, marked for Potschappel, after 1872
