- one of opaque white tint (opaline) - one of green tint, painted in overglaze with leaves, inscribed Forget me Not - one of dark-blue tint painted in overglaze with two vessels flanking the motto "Health to the sick, Honour to the Brave, Success to the lover, and Freedom to the Slave" - one filled with a chalk coating, decorated with various Victorian decalcomania, early 19th century

These rolling-pins could be filled with hot or cold water for rolling dough (or to store flour, tea, sugar or salt). They are said to have been popular as gifts ('love tokens') by sailors and possibly as containers for smuggling.
