With a large flower finial, the body painted with a man courting a lady with a servant in attendance, the reverse with flowers within scroll-moulded cartouches applied with flowers and fruit in high relief, on a scroll-moulded base applied with a cherub beside a basket of flowers, the moulded details enriched in turquoise and gilding (extensively restored, small chips to applied decoration), blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummern and incised mark 29¾in. (75.5cm.) high
